Happy 2020!

Can you believe 2019 is over already? It seems to have gone by in the blink of an eye! 2020 is already looking like it is going to be an exciting year, I have been chosen to be a  Trimcraft Maker! I am so excited to have this opportunity and cannot wait to get started crafting. You may have noticed from my previous makes that I am already a big fan of the First Edition Paper Pads and Dovecraft ranges so this has been a crafting dream for me. If you aren't already aware of Trimcraft I encourage you to take a look at their craft blog , its have a massive inspiration section which is great when your struggling with ideas and it showcases their wide range of products.

Halloween Treat Bags

Happy Halloween! Halloween is just around the corner and soon you will have Trick or Treaters knocking on your door and Halloween parties to get dressed up for! My favourite part of Halloween is the sweets, I have a massive sweet tooth, so with the Emma Jewell Crafts October box I decided to make some Halloween treat bags! I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the bags using a Cricut Access template, I then finished off the sweet bags with glitter twine and filled with plenty of sweets! Why not try the Emma Jewell Crafts Box for yourself? Use code DT2019 to receive 20% off your first box!

Hobbycraft Christmas Haul

Who doesn't love Christmas?! It is my favourite time of the year, I love all the sparkle, food, warm night infront of the fire and of course mulled wine. Normally I start my Christmas cards in July but this year I am very behind schedule as I move house at the end of June and with all the unpacking and getting into a routine my crafting has fallen behind! But I am now getting back into the swing of things so I decided it was time to update my Christmas Craft collection. I have a lot of papers and accessories from previous years that I still use but I always like to update my collection to keep my Christmas cards fresh, here is a peak at what I brought. I am a sucker for new paper pads, my collection is getting out of hand but I can't help myself! The Hobbycraft Christmas Paper Pads are gorgeous this year, I purchased the Enchanted Christmas & Christmas Woodland but I was very tempted to buy more! I also treated myself to the Dovecraft Christmas Tales Pap...

Dovecraft Happy You Range

I am absolutely in love with the Dovecraft Happy You range, I love rose gold so this range is perfect for me.  The range has a modern grey and pink theme and the paper pad features geometric shapes, hearts, motivational quotes as well as glitter effect papers and rose gold foil papers. The accessories to go with the paper pad are just as gorgeous, they include cutting dies, cute charms, metallic bows, ribbon and photo frames. The range all compliments each other so well and makes the most beautiful cards! I decided to make this geometric style card with the papers after being inspired by the patterns in the paper pad.  I made this card using the 6x6" paper pad and stickers.

Emma Jewell Crafts July Box

How is it August already?! This year is going far too fast! I wanted to share with you all my latest makes using the Emma Jewell Crafts subscription box! The July box was gorgeous (as you would expect) and filled with fun paper, quote cards, sequins and lots more! The July range is perfect for new baby cards and children's party makes! Firstly I made this Hello Baby scrapbook using paper and foam letters that were in the crafty subscription box. I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the leaves for the wreath (image #M3976E) and to cut out the background circle. Then I stuck them down and added the foam letters and sequin flowers. I finished it off with a tassel made from wool that was in the box. My second make was personalised cards, perfect for little ones birthdays! How cute is the tiger print paper?! I love it! I cut a rectangle of 5" x 7" in both the papers and then cut them down the middle to create triangles. Have you tried the Emma Jewell Cra...

DIY Hello Card

Sometimes it's nice to just send a card to say Hello, rather than waiting for a special occasion. With that in mind I decided to create this gorgeous Hello card using the Maggie Holmes Carousel paper & ephemera pack. To make this card you will need Maggie Holmes Carousel Fun Fair Papers Maggie Holmes Carousel Ephemera Pack Gold glitter card 5" x 7" card blank Paper cutter Double sided tape To start making the card you will need to cut a 5" x 7" rectangle out of the cream & gold pattern paper and stick this to your card base using double sided tape. Next cut out a 6" x 4" rectangle from the yellow floral paper and 6" x 2" rectangle of the pink pattern paper. Stick the patterned gift tag from your ephemera pack to the cream & gold paper and then layer the two rectangles you cut over the top (refer to picture for placement). Now cut out your 'hello' sentiment from the gold card, I used my Cric...
