DIY First Edition Bloom & Wonder Card

The First Edition Bloom & Wonder Pad is simply gorgeous, if you haven't already purchase it then take a look at previous blog post! It is currently available at CraftStash & Amazon

My first make with the Bloom & Wonder Paper Pad was this 'Bloom' card, I really wanted to show off the variety of patterns in the paper pad and play with my favourite prints.

First Edition Bloom and Wonder Card

To make this card you will need:

  • First Edition Bloom & Wonder Paper Pad
  • Dovecraft Rose Gold Card
  • 5" x 7" Card Blank
  • Paper cutter
  • Craft foam
  • Double sided tape
I used my Cricut Explore Air to cut out some parts of the card (heart & bloom frame)

Start by cutting out a 5" x 7" rectangle, this will be the background to your card, I used the first sheet in the paper pad for this (it's my favourite!). Use double sided tape and attach this to your card blank.

Next cut out a rectangle 5" x 2" and stick to your background paper using double sided tape. I attached it just above halfway up the background paper.

Another rectangle... this time 5" x 4", attach this to the card blank. I positioned it further to the right.

Next open up Cricut Design Space and search 'bloom'(#MBAFC0C0) in images and 'frame'(#M418F7B) and insert them on to your canvas.
Resize the frame to 3" wide and resize the word 'bloom' so that it fits inside the frame, and overlaps slightly.
In layers highlight both layers and weld them.
Then cut using Dovecraft Rose gold card.

Cut a square to fit the back of the Bloom Frame and attach using craft foam, then attach the frame to the card blank.

Finish with a heart cut from your favourite paper & voila!

First Edition Making Memories Card

I could spend hours just looking through the Cricut Design Space, there is so much inspiration to be had and so many different projects! Whilst scrolling through the Design Space one Saturday afternoon I found the 'Hexagon Quilt Card', a cute card designed to look like a quilt. As soon as I saw it I thought of my mum, she is loves sewing and has recently started quilting classes, and it is her birthday soon. I decided to make the card using the First Edition Making Memories Paper Pad. This fun paper pad has quite a modern palette of pinks, purples and mint green with glitter accents. Adorned with beautiful hand lettering and elements including florals, hearts, love letters, and geometric patterns – it seemed perfect to create this Quilt Birthday Card. Firstly I found the Quilt Card Design on Cricut Design Space (Hexagon Quilt Card) and then picked which patterns to choose. I choose 5 different patterns from the Making Memories paper pad and teamed these up with a lila
