Emma Jewell Crafts May Box

I am loving being part of the Emma Jewell Design Team, its so exciting when I see my makes going up on the website.

I thought I would share with you the projects I made with the May Craft Box!

As soon as I opened the May Box I knew what my first project would be - a fun and crafty box frame for my mums new craft room!

I already had the box frame, so it was the perfect project and, best of all, my mum loved it and it is already on display in her craft room!

My next project was a shaker card, this was inspired by an 'Absolute Babe' sticker that was included in the box that I thought would be perfect for one of my best friends.

This was such a fun card to make and who doesn't love a shaker card?

My final project was Craft Room Bunting, I decided to use the materials leftover in my box to create a fun bunting that could be hung in my own craft room and that could be added to.

Which is your favourite project?

Halloween Treat Bags

Happy Halloween! Halloween is just around the corner and soon you will have Trick or Treaters knocking on your door and Halloween parties to get dressed up for! My favourite part of Halloween is the sweets, I have a massive sweet tooth, so with the Emma Jewell Crafts October box I decided to make some Halloween treat bags! I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the bags using a Cricut Access template, I then finished off the sweet bags with glitter twine and filled with plenty of sweets! First Edition Making Memories Card

I could spend hours just looking through the Cricut Design Space, there is so much inspiration to be had and so many different projects! Whilst scrolling through the Design Space one Saturday afternoon I found the 'Hexagon Quilt Card', a cute card designed to look like a quilt. As soon as I saw it I thought of my mum, she is loves sewing and has recently started quilting classes, and it is her birthday soon. I decided to make the card using the First Edition Making Memories Paper Pad. This fun paper pad has quite a modern palette of pinks, purples and mint green with glitter accents. Adorned with beautiful hand lettering and elements including florals, hearts, love letters, and geometric patterns – it seemed perfect to create this Quilt Birthday Card. Firstly I found the Quilt Card Design on Cricut Design Space (Hexagon Quilt Card) and then picked which patterns to choose. I choose 5 different patterns from the Making Memories paper pad and teamed these up with a lila

DIY Valentines Love Shaker Jar

Finally, January is nearly over! This month has felt like it would never end and I am definitely looking forward to February, the days will get lighter, pancake day (I LOVE pancakes) and Valentine's Day. I'm not much of a Valentine's person but I do love pretty patterned paper and will take any excuse to create a shaker card! To create this Cricut Made Card you will need: Paper Addicts Forever & Always  Dovecraft Adhesive Glitter Paper Acetate Sequins Craft foam Double sided tape Gems 6" x 6" card blank First you will need to cut your background paper to the same size as your card blank (6" x 6") - I used the Love Hearts paper but pick your favourite and then stick to the card blank using the double sided tape. Next cut a rectangle (6" x 3") from a complementary patterned paper - I chose to use the pink flowers and stick to the card using craft foam. Now it's time to cut out your shaker jar! Open your Cri
